I have decided to create a Memorial Page on my website for every member of the Juneau crew! Each page will contain basic information, such as name, date of enlistment, date reported aboard the Juneau, service number, and the state of record according to the American Battlefield Monuments Commission. The page will be accessible from a hyperlink of the name on the CREW LIST page.
http://ussjuneau.weebly.com/crew-list.html On the Memorial Page visitors will be able to leave comments, and I will be able to post additional pictures and documents related to each sailor. This will take me a while, and I will start with sailors whose family members who have contacted me here, as well as sailors whose pictures I possess. If you would like to see a certain sailor please messages me I will create their page next. Also if you have any documents of photos you want posted contact me through Facebook or the "CONTACT" section of my website's HOME page and I will gladly post them. Here are a few completed test pages. Let me know what you think. http://ussjuneau.weebly.com/blue-john-stuart-lt-cdr.html http://ussjuneau.weebly.com/aitchison-james-thomas-sea2c.html

Hello. Russell Fant was my Great Uncle and was on board The USS Juneau. Thank you for all your hard work on putting this site together.

My stepfather spoke often of his brother James MacDougall who went down with the ship . He never got over the loss . He would be proud to see his name on this list since I believe he felt these men did not get the recognition they deserved . Thank you for your memorial.

Hello, my Paternal uncle was Robert Stull and he was lost at sea on the Juneau. My father attended the talk by the granddaughter of one of the Sullivan brothers and it was a very moving experience for him. Are you still creating the memorial pages for the sailors of the Juneau? I would be very excited to gather and send you the necessary information so that he could be included.

Amazing to have just learned of our hometown hero's tragic death on this horrible day. I am trying to learn more about Mr. Dudko of Port Jervis. Could anyone else knowing anything about Dimitro Dudko of Port Jervis, please contact me at 845-856-6150 or [email protected] I have photos of Mr. Dudko's name on a monument in our city's historic Orange Square, where Stephen Crane interviewed Civil War soldiers and wrote portions of The Red Badge of Courage. Thank you for creating this special site to remember these great sacrifices by this crew.
